Weekly Menu August 28 - September 1

I did it! I made it through all five weeks of August by only making dinners with the food we had in the pantry, fridge and freezer. This week was the hardest because there is basically nothing left. By this Friday my deep freezer will contain popsicles, five sub rolls, a package of mini sliders, a bag of ice and a pork tenderloin.

I'm not at all looking forward to the grocery bill to restock the freezer, but I'm really glad we were able to go through and get rid of all of the ingredients that had been lying around for far too long.



Sunday: brown sugar and vanilla bourbon ham, mashed potatoes and corn 

Monday: Indiana pork tenderloin sandwiches, fries, salad 

Tuesday: mini pizza meatloaf, salad  

Wednesday: crab soup 

Thursday: churro pancakes, bacon, fruit  

Breakfast for this week will be sausage and hatch chile casserole and lunch is going to use up the leftover ham in  fried rice with pineapple and veggies.
