Ingredients

  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup dill chopped

Instructions

  • Thinly slice the cucumber into rounds and place in a large bowl. Season liberally with the salt.

  • Add the sour cream, vinegar, sugar and pepper to the bowl and stir until cucumber slices are fully coated. Then stir in the dill.
    ½ cup sour cream, 2 tablespoon white vinegar, 2 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon pepper, ¼ cup dill
  • Refrigerate the salad for 15 minutes (or longer), then stir again and taste, adding additional vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve salad as a side dish.

Notes

Easy Cucumber Dill Salad will keep for 3-4 days in the fridge.
