Fresh Peach Homemade Moonshine is easy to make with only a few ingredients. The fresh peaches are cooked down with peach nectar, cinnamon and nutmeg and then pureed. Grain alcohol is added and then you have the perfect homemade moonshine that any peach-lover will enjoy.
Peel skin from peaches and remove the pits. Cut into quarters.
Add peaches, peach nectar, cinnamon stick and nutmeg to a saucepan. Heat over medium high heat until boiling.
Remove from the heat and let cool. Transfer to a blender or food processor and puree.
If desired, pour the peach mixture through cheesecloth or a strainer to remove the bigger pieces (I don't do this, I think it tastes better with it)
Pour in the Everclear and stir.
Divide the mixture between the mason jars.
Notes
When in sterilized jars, moonshine will keep in the freezer for 2 years or in a dark cabinet for 1 year. Once opened, it will keep for about 3 months in the fridge. If you don't sterilize the jars, it will keep a few weeks in the fridge.
