  • 18.25 oz box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 stick unsalted butter softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sprinkles


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine butter and cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Slowly add in the vanilla cake mix until a dough forms.
  • Fill a small bowl with the sprinkles.
  • Roll out the dough into 1-inch balls and coat with the sprinkles.
  • Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until crackly and puffed up.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
