4slicesthick cut bread
4slicescheddar cheese
4ozturkey breastsliced
3tablespooncranberry sauce
2largeeggs

Instructions
Spread cranberry sauce on each slice of bread, then top the slices with cheddar cheese.
Divide the turkey between the sandwiches and place one slice of bread on top of the other to form the sandwich.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
In a shallow dish, whisk together the egg and milk until combined. Dip the sandwich into the batter, then flip it over and dip the other side in. Repeat with the other sandwich.

Add the sandwiches to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy. Remove from the skillet and slice in half, sprinkling both sandwiches with powdered sugar.

Notes
Substitutions: swiss, American, provolone, pepperjack are all great cheese substitutions. Replace cranberry sauce with strawberry or raspberry jam. Serving: serve with a vinegar based salad, green salad, or a dill pickle!
