Peanut butter and apple pair together so perfectly. Originally, I intended to just make apple blondies, but I was looking through my pantry and the peanut butter chips caught my eye. While a fully stocked pantry can be a blessing and a curse, it totally came in handy for this recipe as I was able to make a last minute addition. Which took these apple blondies from tasty to out of this world.

One of my coworkers actually came over to me and asked if I was going to be selling these at the arts fair I’m in next month. When I said I wasn’t sure and he gave me an incredulous look and told me I better. Okay then!

WHAT ARE PEANUT BUTTER APPLE BLONDIES?

To me, a blondie to be the sister of a brownie. It’s a sweet, baked dessert bar that is made with flour, brown sugar, butter, eggs, baking powder and vanilla. These blondies also include finely diced apples and peanut butter chips. Then a cinnamon sugar mixture is sprinkled on top before they are baked.
