Slow Cooker Italian Roast Beef

This Italian Roast Beef is fork-tender and full of flavor as it cooks in red wine and seasonings all day in the slow cooker.




  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven.
  2. Combine Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper together in a small bowl.
  3. Rub seasonings all over the roast.
  4. Sear roast for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer roast to a slow cooker. Pour in red wine. Arrange onions around roast.
  6. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is fork tender.
  7. Shred and serve.
